Nothing Higher - This song was written with the belief that we should all hold out for our dreams and not to settle or ‘make do’ with a shadow of what we want to realise in life. It is ultimately a song about hope, which should always strive to prevail against the negative influences of pessimism and apathy. Life’s circumstances can change in an instant for the better and a hopeful attitude helps to bring this about.
Gianna - was written after having read the life story of Gianna Beretta Molla (1922 - 1962) an exceptionally courageous and joyful woman. Natalie had the great honour and pleasure of presenting this song to Mr Pietro Molla, Gianna’s husband in August 2006.
